Although this is a bit out of our realm to help with directly (since this seems to be more of an issue with the Kickstarter platform) I wanted to provide some basic troubleshooting steps that you might try to see if it resolves your issue.
First, log in to Kickstarter and click the “Fix payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. This will guide you through the process of changing or updating your payment method. Kickstarter will also send you an email every 48 hours with a direct link to correct the issue. Kickstarter will also automatically retry your pledge 7 days after the campaign has ended as a final attempt to process your pledge.
It may not necessarily be the case that there’s a specific issue with your card, so much as that you’ll need to ask your bank why this charge in particular is being declined. Details you'll want to provide to your bank for this transaction are:
- The charge being from a company/vendor known as "KICKSTARTER.COM 19292244943 NY"
- The amount pledged for the project
- The date when Kickstarter attempted to collect your pledge (this would be March 11th, 2018 — or every 48hrs after that time)
Once you’ve contacted your bank and had Kickstarter unblocked, feel free to log in to the Kickstarter account from which you pledged and click the “Fix Payment” button in the “Important Notifications” banner to retry the payment.
If your bank doesn't see any payment attempt from Kickstarter and you still have the error message, we'd recommend logging into your Kickstarter account using a different internet browser, then attempting to re-enter your payment information. Once that's done, select the "Fix Payment" button and see if there's any change. You may want to disable any add-ons or extensions in your browser to make sure they're not interfering with the entry of your payment information (such as LastPass, Grammarly, Ghostery, uBlock Origin, etc.).

If the steps above don't work, we hope to have out pledge manager online before the end of March and you'll have another opportunity to pay for your pledge through there! Please note, however, that if you aren't able to resolve the payment issues via Kickstarter within 7 days from the campaign ending, there are certain rewards that are no longer available and cannot be added a la carte in the pledge manager (the Colvillain pledge level and playtesting / livestream subscription rewards).
